• Youth football parents upset at the addition of North Salem players to Town teams, taking already short playing time from their kids

• SYSO parents heard complaining about FC Somers and the amount of field space they take up. A significant portion of the players are kids from out of Town and they take up by far the most field space. Not to mention, they claim two seasons (Spring & Fall) when all other sports only claim one. Doesn't seem like very equitable use of the tax dollars we pay on our fields.

• This one seems to be the most popular...plenty of talk about the upcoming K-8 sexuality training: “Are male counselors only talking to boys?”...“How do I opt-out (name withheld)? I’ll never let a teacher talk to my daughter about this. My husband and I handle this AT HOME.” … “Are they sending home details about the curriculum? They better!” "They want us to start the conversation at home, and then hand it off to them? No thanks, I'll decide when it's appropriate to speak to my kindergartener about this."
